No news in the second half of 2013 on the blog but some outings, the Tattoo Kustom Festival organization, and a lot of works at the club's shop...But let's begin with the outings...

Un nouveau post avec encore quelques photos du work in progress à l'atelier et des vues plus récentes de la "Batmobile" en cours de remontage.

A new post with some more shots of the workshop's "work in progress" and more recent views of the "Batmobile" re-assembly.

Notre membre Didier a un bon talent de dessinateur et de peintre et il s'est risqué à l'esquisse de ce que pourrait être la Fairlane après traitement.

Our crew member Didier have some real drawer and  painter talent and he's done some sketch of what the Failane would look like...

Hello Folks,

Peu de nouvelles durant ces mois d'hiver...Pour autant nous n'étions pas en hibernation. Le boulot a continué sur la Ford Fairlane, aussi sur la Bel Air 57 de Gerald. Une nouvelle voiture a rejoint le club, une Chevrolet Bel Air 1963 californienne, maintenant propriété de Marc...Une première sortie de quelques voitures le week-end dernier...Une virée à Allassac avec trois voitures dans une semaine....

Very few news during this winter months...But we're not hibernating . Work have continued on the Ford Fairlane, on Gerald's Bel Air 57. A new car have join the club, a californian 63' Bel Air, now Marc's property...A first trip with some car last week end...A trip planned to Allassac with three cars...

 With some progress on the body nearly primed, the work continue on the chassis rails even with nearly two degrees (celsius) below zero.

No rest during Holidays...

 

Le travail continue sur la Ford Fairlane 58 durant la période des fêtes. La dynamo a été démontée et va être refaite par Philippe avec un kit de chez Denis Carpenter (USA-http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/), les radiateurs sont revenus de réfection chez Oise Radiateurs à Beauvais (https://maps.google.fr/maps?oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF-8&q=oise+radiateurs+beauvais&fb=1&gl=fr&hq=oise+radiateurs&hnear=0x47e7012d2102b553:0x33743e4f961c4ef4,Beauvais&cid=0,0,16849163031245044463&ei=hB3gUPDtBOOl0AXKxoHAAg&ved=0CLkBEPwSMAA. Beau boulot apparement. A tester. La Fairlane a gagné 30 % de circulation en plus et la Bel Air entre 15 et 20 %. Pas négligeable!
Le nettoyage de la Ford s'est fait hier 29/12/2012 avec Gérald, Marc et Philippe pendant que Lascar s'occupait du traçage des filets sur les pièces de sa Harley. Vincent est venu nous rendre visite ainsi que Pascal venu presque en voisin. Le rendez vous du samedi matin va bientôt être très "Hype"! Stay Tune

          Philippe et Lascar essayent de retirer la dynamo. Not so easy...Philippe and Lascar trying to remove the generator.

Works continue on the Fairlane 58 during holidays. The Generator have been removed from the car and will be rebuilt by Philippe with a kit from Denis Carpenter (USA-http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/), Radiators have been completely rebuilt by Oise Radiateurs in Beauvais (https://maps.google.fr/maps?oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&ie=UTF-8&q=oise+radiateurs+beauvais&fb=1&gl=fr&hq=oise+radiateurs&hnear=0x47e7012d2102b553:0x33743e4f961c4ef4,Beauvais&cid=0,0,16849163031245044463&ei=hB3gUPDtBOOl0AXKxoHAAg&ved=0CLkBEPwSMAA. Nice Job apparently. Need to be tested. The Fairlane have earn 30 % more flowing and the Bel Air between 15 et 20 %. Not negligible!
The Ford cleaning have been done yesterday 12/29/2012 with Gérald, Marc and Philippe while Lascar traced the color separation on his Harley mudguards. Vincent have come to say Hello as well as Pascal as a neighbor. The saturday mornin' "Rendez vous" is becoming very "Hype"! 

Sur le front du style, voilà à quoi la Fairlane va peut être ressembler pour l'avant, excepté la couleur et les détails de caisse/ On the styling front, here is the what the Fairlane front may be look, except the color and the detailling trims around front lights from a 57' De Soto . The Grill Teeth on my Fairlane will came from a 53-57' Corvette.
